Step 1: Get Certified
Imagination Place is now a training center, led by Master Instructor Trainer, Darlene Casanova! Every prospective instructor must first start by becoming certified in FUNdamentals 1 & 2 before moving on to other programs.
Step 2: Apprenticeship
It is no longer required to have 50 hours of apprenticeship before instructing classes, but it is highly recommended. Some apprenticeship is required to become an instructor at Imagination Place.
Apprenticing at Imagination Place is easy and inexpensive.
Single Class - 1.5 hours - $19.00
5 Class Pass - 7.5 hours - $85.00
10 Class Pass - 15 hours - $150.00
we want you to succeed as an AntiGravity® Fitness instructor, and to get
the most out of your apprenticeship hours, we have prepared a list of
what you can expect while apprenticing in our classes.
Please schedule all apprenticeship classes through the office.
Step 3: Final Test
On completion of the FUNdamentals 1 & 2 training and testing, you become a Level One AG Fitness Instructor. We want to support your learning. Level One AG Fitness Instructors will be given a Readiness Assessment and a Self-Test as part of their training. Both of these are done online at the convenience of the new instructor. There is also an assessment during the FUNdamentals 1 & 2 training provided by the Instructor Trainer. Higher Level Trainings each have their own online Self-Testing/Assessment process and informal classroom personal assessments.
If you don’t pass you can retest again. There is no limit to the number of times you may retest. The idea of the testing/assessments to reinforce and clarify your learning. Everyone learns at a different rate, it is not crucial that you are a fast learner, only a thorough one.
